Hi, We are soon heading to El Cotillo, and are hearing that COVID is on the rise in Fuerteventura , with masks being worn etc. can anyone kindly advise on the situation.

Whilst it is true that they say there has been an increase of covid in the Canaries, it is not true that masks have to be worn, nor are there any restrictions on anything. They did say masks had to be worn in medical centres, however, that lasted about a week and is no longer applicable.

I am here 6 weeks now no sign of it anywhere on the island and I have been everywhere even on top of volcanos
