Hi Alex. The situation we are in at the moment is we sold our house just before lockdown in Corralejo and purchased a new motor home to live in until we find a new home to buy. We were parked near the lighthouse for 3 weeks into the lockdown but had to move on to Corralejo. The Guardia who told us to move said we could return in 15-20 days, obviously a lot has happened since then so may have changed. Do you or anyone know if motorhomes are allowed back to the area? Many thanks.

Hi Tim,

Can't help with an official answer, sorry, but I can confirm that there are several mobile homes/campervans in and around El Cotillo.  They tend to be parked in quiet streets, off the main roads.

I know one got told to move, which he did for three days - just moved it up towards the new harbor, then came back to the northern end.

I would suggest NOT going back up to the lighthouse, it is a bit remote and it would stick out like a sore thumb!

If you know Cotillo Lagos and Sunrise - there are 4 or 5 parked up there.

Tom.

Thank you Tom, looks like we have to sit it out a bit longer. All for the best though. Stay safe. Tim.
