Morning all new to the site but not to corralejo. My family have been coming hear for 26 years in that time only missed 1 year. Ok booked up for January 2021 just really wanted to know how things are shaping up there regarding tourism during this terrible situation we’re in. Hi we are thinking of booking to come to the island in aug - (been many times) can anyone tell us if things are opening as normal now or are their lots of restrictions?

Do we have to book for restaurants are the bars open etc?

DURING LOCKDOWN SOME OF THE RULES WERE SLIGHTLY BENT BUT IT RECENTLY CAME TO MY ATTENTION OF PEOPLE THAT BENT THE RULES IN LOCKDOWN,WERE TOLD BY THE POLICE "THIS IS A WARNING" AND HAVE NOW RECEIVED IN THE POST A HEFTY FINE.

1)MAN COMING OUT OF MERCADONNA IN ANTIGUA HAD HIS BAGS SEARCHED AND ALTHOUGH HE HAD FRUIT AND VEG, HE ALSO HAD 6 CANS OF BEER AND A BOTTLE OF BRANDY,THIS WAS IN MARCH.

HE HAS JUST RECEIVED A FINE FOR 600E. ITS ONLY 300 IF PAID WITHIN 15 DAYS OF THE OFFENCE!

IF ITS A FINABLE OFFENCE TO BUY ALCOHOL WHY WERE SUPERMARKETS ALLOWED TO SELL IT?

THIS IS DEFINATELY A CASE OF BUYER BEWARE.
