Hi all,

Coming over in 2 weeks, what are the current restrictions regarding covid ? Bars, restaurants etc

I know it keeps changing but I just want a general idea of what to expect,  I came over in November and it was still very strict then

Not much at the moment really.

Bars and restaurants are now at 100% capacity outside and 75% inside. Closing times in accordance with their license.

Gatherings of those who are not of the same household limited to a maximum of 12

Masks must be worn by adults and children over the age of 6 in enclosed public spaces, except when eating or drinking, and outdoors where it is not possible to maintain a social distance of 1.5m.  Must be worn on public and group transport. A mask must be carried at all times.

You may not smoke or use tobacco inhalation devices when it is not possible to guarantee a 2-metre separation. Smoking is not permitted on public highways.
