Hi, as long as you have all the relevant paperwork and permits you can start up your own business without too many problems (autonomous) actually getting a job is very difficult and you would need to be fluent in Spanish.  Working within a hotel without speaking  Spanish is impossible.  A good reliable and Legal  builder will always find work here.  Good luck.

My first question is, do you already have your residencia?  If not, then what nationality you are depends on how easy it will be to move and work here. If British, or other non-EU national, then you will need to obtain a visa.  Not easy and not cheap.  But if you are an EU national (ie Irish) then you won't need to have a visa and can apply for residency here.
