I'm wondering if you've ever actually been to Fuerteventura?   You will see very few, if any chimneys. Bearing in mind that 'winter' here is usually one month (February), and even then usually only a few days that are really cold, so having heating is not usual.  Some places do have air conditioning installed.

We have a small calor gas heater, which is only needed a few nights in February, and in a bad year maybe March.  Really isn't worth installing a stove.

Unfortunately, your being Oftec registered will not be recognised here.
