Someone to talk to

hello, I'm here in Fuerteventura for four months essentially to escape the English winter. I'm retired and brought plenty of things to do but miss having conversation. I'm not one for sitting in a cafe/pub but I can't see anywhere else where folks meet up. If you can help I'd appreciate a reply. cmd
