I am looking to retire to Caleta in the next couple of years but am getting very confused as to how much income/ savings I will need to be able to qualify for a non- lucrative visa. Everywhere that I have looked has different values,  or none at all,  just a comment like ' need to have enough income to support yourself'. ???

I will have a pension of  approx £1150 per month plus savings of about   £200,000 and a property with no mortgage.

Thanks for any clarification

That's a generous income to live on.

Not sure how old you are, state pension etc but factor in private health care which can be expensive with previous or current medical conditions. Apart from that, factoring in the cost of living here you are good to go. You just have to navigate post Brexit conditions to become resident here....instruct a professional to help you with this. Good luck

Thank you for your reply,  that's quite reassuring.  I'm taking early retirement from the NHS so it's a work pension. Won't be getting state pension for another 10 years or so

Hi you  have enough it's about 36000 euros for a married couple and 28000 euros for a single person. Your pension is low but your savings are get you past that
