Looking for a restaurant where I can celebrate my 50th birthday in Caleta de Fuste, somewhere with amazing food and atmosphere and lovely surroundings and maybe a nice view
We are staying in a villa on the golf course, have seen a restaurant called Algo Mas which is close by and looks okay but have been recommended Fado rock but not sure as wanted something really special for my birthday.

TBH there isn't much in the way of special restaurants in Caleta (in our opinion, everybody's taste is different!).
Fado Rock is very popular, but in the 3 times we have tried it we have always had bad, rude service and average food, as have many others. We went there 3 times in the hope we would see what others rave about, but we couldn't.
Algo Mas is much nicer, although we have been there for a long time, but can recommend it.
Restaurante Mar Dorado, part of hotel Ereza Mar, was good when we tried them, but I would give them a call first - +34 928 85 71 01
Possibly Amares down on the sea front

I had looked online at Fado Rock but wasn’t overly impressed with the photos of the restaurant or the food.

Pickled palm just had a lovely meal there for my 60th

We live on the golf course and eat out very regularly. We have had many celebrations of birthdays, wedding anniversaries and Christmas’s at Fado Rock and have never been let down. If you let them know it’s a special day for you they wii go out of their way to make it SPECIAL. I had my 70th there and they did me proud. Have a good day. John B.
