Any good tips on places on the island to get a second hand car,  going the private route is cheaper but then if your Spanish isn't great  you don't know if they are going to pull a fast one.

Hi, I've been living in Puerto del Rosario now for nearly two years. I moved over here with my boyfriend, we brought an apartment but it's in his name. I would like to get my residency but don't know how to get it. I'm not working so don't have a contract of employment. I have been told if I get private medical insurance this would be accepted towards residency. Is this true or any other advice as to how I can apply?

We are looking to relocate to the area in the next few months, and want to know of any after school clubs. Both my children (9&6 ) attend the scouts group here in the UK and want to know if any similar clubs are      available.
