Hello

We bought a property here in Antigua last year and the bank arranged our insurances, is this likely to be a good deal or would you advise arranging them ourselves?

Hi the banks insurance is ok but on the expensive side. Try getting a quote from Carolina next to the chocolate shop. Be aware you have to give something like 2 months notice to the bank to cancel.  Good luck.

We did our first insurance with the bank too,but the following year we did it through Liberty Seguros - it was much cheaper. Speak to Yolanda at the office in Caletta. I will PM you the details. she speaks great English and is very helpful. Tell her Beverley and Jonny sent you.
