Good afternoon everyone,

We are due to drive to Fuerteventura from the UK, we will be driving through France into Spain to our destination of Huelves where we will start out two day crossing via Gran Canaria. We have our pet dog with us as well hence the route from Huelves as ferry providers (Fred Olsen) allow pets in the cabins!

Any information/advise, dos and don’ts etc from anybody who has driven across post Brexit would be much appreciated,

Mark & Nicky

We drove with our dog last year great road trip just take your time and enjoy we found loads of hotels that take dogs did not book in advance. We took 5 days plus ferry if you are going to import your car keep all ferry tickets as you need them as proof. Good luck and enjo

Just to let you know there is a ferry that goes to Lanzarote leaves at 12.30 and get in at 2pm next day giving you time to travel to Fuerteventura the same day only problem no cabins for dogs
