Moving over from the Spanish mainland: how do I change my address at the DGT?

I've recently moved from the mainland of Spain to Fuerteventura with my Spanish car.
Does anyone know how to change the address with the DGT of is this automatic when you get your Padron at the town hall?
I stil have to get my cl@ve, think everything is easier to check once you have that.
My 3 earlier temptations to get one failed, never received the invitation card...

Hi. Welcome to Fuerteventura!

You can just change your address at the DGT office in Puerto del Rosario. When we moved properties it was before Covid and we just went and told them we've moved. They gave us the form to fill in and that was it. Not sure if you need an appointment these days.
