Hi I am a bricklayer by trade but I am also multi skilled in various other parts of the building trade. I am considering relocating to Fuerteventura. I am not interested in setting up my own business but would consider working with the right guys 3/4 days a week. I am 49 so I have a wealth of experience. I was wondering if there was any call for this. Thanks in advance.

There might be, but whether it's possible is another matter!

If you have a British, or other 3rd country, passport the only way this would be possible is on the Golden Visa.  For this the requirement is that you invest a minimum of 500,000€ in property.

Other visas, such as the Non-Lucrative and work employed visa would not be possible for you.  Non-Lucrative you are not allowed to work, at all.  Work employment visa you would have to have a full job contract, which would be impossible to get for your situation.

However, if you have a passport for an EU country, then yes it should be possible.
