Getting work, whilst not impossible, is difficult. Unemployment is relatively high, wages are low, and in the areas of tourism nigh impossible to get a decent contract. But, as I said, not absolutely impossible.
However, the first thing to know is, are you legally allowed to work in Fuerteventura? What nationality are you?
If you only hold a British, or other third country passport then, I'm sorry to say, it will be impossible as you simply would not be able to get a visa for such employed work.
However, if you are a citizen of an EU country, then you can move over without a visa and the only real problem you would have would be finding employment.
