expat community activity around Corralejo and Caleta de Fuste

Hi All, I've read through most of the forum posts and found them interesting and helpful. We have been to 3 of the Canary Islands before and especially liked Fuerteventura. We stayed in Corralejo with day trips to El Cotillo and loved both of them. My wife and I have booked to come over in December (Covid restrictions and flights permitting) to get to know the island a bit better and investigate buying an appartment ahead of retiring in next 2 or 3 years.  If I had one query from reading the posts, it was whether there was much of an expat community going on around Corralejo and Caleta de Fuste
