Hello, I am hoping to move to fuerteventura in a few months. I am looking for abit of advise and guidance on my options to work.

Would it be possible to get a job lined up before getting my visa.

Hi.  Presumably your passport is that of a 3rd country as you are talking about a visa.

It is very difficult to obtain a working visa (employment) as currently employers must by law first offer a job to locals and people of an EU country.  They must prove to the satisfaction of the government that there was no local or EU person that could do the job.  Then, if you are offered a job, they apply for the visa.

I understand that there is a lot of paperwork involved and it's not an easy task, therefore very few employers will do this.  Of course a lot depends on what type of job and your qualifications.  If, for instance, it is a cleaning job or bar/restaurant work then you are highly unlikely to get this as there are plenty of local people.  However, if you are qualified or well experienced in a more specialist job then you might stand a chance.
