If I were you I would have someone in the Family who is technology savvy set up an IPTV (basically TV over the Internet) service on an Amazon Firestick for you before you leave. This way they can also show you how to use it. The bring the firestick with you and use it here. All you do is plug the Firestick into your TV via (HDMI), connect it to WiFi in your accommodation and use an IPTV player on the Firestick.
Trust me it is VERY simple once you have been set up and shown how to use it.
This will give you 1000s of TV channels including Sport. I have had such a service for the past 2 years and am very happy with it.
You can find lots of IPTV providers on the internet and get contracts per month if you wish which are relatively cheap. This means you can start a contract every time you come over and stop it every-time you leave, or have it for the whole year and use it in the UK as well as here.
Having a solution set up and working in the UK first will be far better, and cheaper, than trying to find someone here to do it. There are many offerings of UK TV over here but personally I think they are very expensive and my father who also lives here had terrible service with one local provider once they had his money.
I am not saying all providers here are unscrupulous, but UK Swallows (people who come over for a few months at a time) are particularly susceptible to fraud and poor customer services as you are here one day and gone the next so do your resercah and make sure if you do get someone here is that they are recommended, and like for any tradesman, get references.
