5 years ago my son bought an apartment in Puerto del Rosario.
Last year he bought an apartment in London.
Upon exiting this second home, he paid £ 12,500 in tax.
Having decided to sell the property in Puerto del Rosario, to buy in Caleta de Fuste, how much will you have to pay in capital gains in the UK? Thanks

He should contact an asesor fiscal, you do not want to get tax wrong!
But, of course, asesors can be a minefield as here you do not need to be qualified to set up as one, and therefore can be given incorrect advice, which we received when first moving here.
If you want recommendations, I can certainly vouch for Marcos Cabrera. Although his main office is in Tenerife he also has one in Caleta and comes over regularly to speak with his clients. https://www.marcoscabrera.es/
