Hello everyone! We are a small family of 3. Me , my husband and our 2,5 year old son. We are thinking of moving to Fuerteventura and have found a house for long term rent in Parque Hollandes. We have never been to Fuerteventura before.

Can you help me with info about the area? How is it there? Are there children and people to connect? How far is from everything?

Hello there and a very warm welcome to Fuerteventura!  My husband and I bought our house here nearly 6 years ago and moved out permanently 16 months ago and it's the best move we have ever made! Nothing is too far away either by car or the very good frequent bus service and we have more friends here than we ever had in the UK we absolutely love it. It's not as busy as the other Canary Islands but that's what appealed to us. I hope you and your family enjoy your move here and if I can help you with any more information please message me on here. Best wishes, Mel

Thank you Mel

So kind of you to reply to my message! It’s great to hear that Parque holandes is a good neighborhood. We are still in the process of looking for houses. If we finally end up to move to park holandes. We will be happy to talk again and meet:)

Hi Juliana, I have lived in Lajares for 20 years and own a beautiful villa 3 bed villa with swimming pool in a 1200 sq mtr plot which I am selling as I have to return to the uk due to health complications. The property is in a lovely secluded cul de sac about 5 minutes drive to the lagoons at El Cotillio one of the favourite beaches on the Island.
