Hi

We are also looking for a bungalow, can anyone recommend nice locations which do not require a car near caleta-de-fuste or corralejo? Thank you

Hi Rhona

It just depends on budget really , you have Costa de Antigua , some parts of Corralejo , parque Holendes  but that is a bus ride to Corralejo  but only short. Or Tamaragua really great place to be

I hope this helps

Kind Regards

Hi

Thank you for your reply, we have a budget of around €130,000, I had thought of Tamaragua but was concerned it was perhaps a bit deserted and out of town.

Certainly not deserted Rhona lots of people live there and holiday there, buses run every 30 mins and taxis are good value.

Nice wide pavements , large open areas that cannot be built on. Good street lighting and supermarket open 6.5 weeks a week

Kind Regards

It's a great area to live - mixture of nationalities - locals and foreigners. Very quiet, very safe, but within easy drive of Rosario and Corralejo and only 15 mins from the airport. Currently no supermarket, (as it closed down last year), but I think it will come back. 2 great restaurants locate...

...d in the Parque, one of which also sells milk, bread etc. There is also a friendly  bar, which does snacks. Nearest supermarket is Mercadona, 10 mins drive. The lovely fishing village of Jablito is 10 mins walk and there you can swim safely.

We move there 2 years ago (winters only) and absolutely love it. Our neighbours of all nationalities have made us feel very welcome.

I think it's one of those areas that has been neglected for a while, but there is a lot of renovation work going on, which is a good sign as it means the area is up and coming.

feel free to ask any more questions.

We want to bring our mobile home from the UK.  How much are the site fees?

Tamaragua is a really bustling community , it is not deserted at all regular bus service to Corralejo , on site supermarket open 6.5 days a week. couple of little restaurants up there ,  Corralejo is approx 3km from Tamaragua . It is actualy a great place to be .  the same as Origo Mare which you could get a one bedroom linked villa with front and rear garden also with roof terrace from 125,000 euros .  Search me on FB sand i will be happy to Help
