Anyone have latest news regarding Drs in La Oliva please? Are they private or part of the health service? Dr at hospital told me two ladies?

I was told by the Dr at the hospital there are two ladies at that Drs now who speak some English, since paying last April for someone to help us both change to a Dr that speaks Some English, We have only managed to see him once! Husband been there two hours at Salud in Corralejo tonight and Dr refused to update prescriptions! I have been in Hospital twice! Only out of bed today! What a way to treat people that are ailing! Just would not listen at Drs or reception. It makes you not want to go to the Drs at all, the stress is as bad as the ailments

I find it's not always the doctors that is the problem. It's getting passed the receptionists, who even if they speak some English, absolutely refuse to, to the point of being rude. I am learning to speak Spanish, but fast enough for them! If I ask to speak slower please they just say "siiiiii", then carry on at the usual rate off knots
