As of The meeting held yesterday  18/4/20 The lockdown has been extended til 9th May but they are going to look a territories individually. This has all still to be agreed by the congress.  My wife gets all her info from citizen advice in Spain and n332 Facebook pages.  They are both official so hopefully no made up stories. Stay safe.

For my own sanity I dont even think about an end date, just making sure that myself and everyone else is safe is all that matters. I'm lucky in that I'm retired and dont have any commitments outside my home. Yes, it's getting lonely now but I'm healthy and that's what the exercise is about. Stay safe. It will end when it ends. 🤞🤞

The province government may relax some Islands earlier than others. For example when they reach ZERO confirmed cases. Those on Fuerteventura are lowering quickly.

From the Government Website as of today currently confirmed cases are as follows. We are doing really well and had no deaths whereas Lanzarote has had 2 deaths,

CANARY ISLANDS

TENERIFE.           580 - 83 Deaths
GRAN CANARIA   262 - 33 Deaths
LA PALMA.              41 -   5 Deaths
LANZAROTE.          25 -   3 Deaths
FUERTE.                 19 -   0 Deaths Pto del Rosario(17), Tuineje(1), La Oliva(1), Antigua (0), Betancuria (0), Pájara (0)
LA GOMERA             5 -   0 Deaths
EL HIERRO               1 -   0 Deaths
