Are There Any Alternative Internet Service Provider in the Centre of The Island???

We live in Tiscamanita, located between Antigua and Tuineje in the centre of the island. Our current internet service provider is Movistar (Telefonica). They are expensive and the customer service is awful.

Does anyone know of ANY other companies offering internet service to our remote area of the island be it on a contract or a pay-as-you-go service. We need an unlimited service with a pretty good bandwith as we use the internet for TV streaming with You-Tube and for movie downloads also.

We know Orange does provide a service but you are limited on the amount of data received, and we think we would regularly use it up before the end of the month, and end up paying an expensive pay per Megabyte rate for the remaining data until the start of the next month.

We do have good cell phone/mobile services provided through our English phone service provider Giff-Gaff and also from Orange’s service based on the island.

Hello there is a good local internet service called Canary internet services, no contract broadband, adsl, fibre or 4g routers

We inherited a satellite internet system with our place which I think covers the whole island.

They have a range of services/speeds so might be useful.

we had a similar problem as we live in vallebron and kept being told " you need line of sight to betancuria ".not a chance we are surrounded by hills!

then 1 of the technicians who work for movistar told us of a new system they were getting and its done for satelite.

we went from 1g to 11g minimum.we also have our landline phone on this system.we have an android box but on my computer we have the internet and download and stream if we want.

price wise we pay about 5e more for the satelite system than their other one.

Try Net Services, if you Google them they have info about the services they offer, we've been with them nearly 3 years, had a few issues but they always resolve them.

Hi,

Can anyone tell us if there is such a thing as “pay as you go” internet in Fuerteventura? We live in Gran Tarajal but are away for several weeks at a time, throughout the year. If there isn’t such a thing, can anyone recommend an internet service that includes or doesn’t need a phone line and gives enough reliability for streaming services etc?
