Hi, moving here is easy, renting here is easy and there are some very good rental bargains  to be had and I admit it’s a lovely place to live. However work is virtually impossible to find and at the present time there isn’t any, No one knows how this year will end up and next year the expected recession could be worse, even when this island is flourishing it’s difficult to find work. I wish you luck I really do, try learning Spanish as if your fluent it increases your chances by 100 percent.  Good luck.

I AGREE WITH GRAHAM,WORK IS THE BIGGEST HURDLE.

THERE ARE A FEW GYMS WHO ,WITH THE RIGHT QUALIFICATIONS MAY OFFER YOU SOMETHING IN THE GYM. IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO LEARN SPANISH.

IF POSSIBLE TRY TO LIVE HERE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS AS A  RESIDENT,IT IS DIFFERENT.

Hello we have been visiting Fuerteventura for 20 yrs .we are finally giving up work and can afford to move.

Triqui is my place of choice. I just wondered if there were many long term properties to rent there before we look into buying.

Would really appreciate your  opinions. Thank you x

Hi, I’m not sure about triqui for rentals although there’s definitely a lot of property out there for sale, try looking on the Just4sales web site for rentals.   Good luck.
