Hello good people,

Hopefully coming on 1st February for 2 weeks. I'd love to know what to expect weatherwise, daytime, evening? We're in our late 60's and need some heat on our bones, a bit of colour on our skin and would appreciate anything you guys might be able to give us.

Thanks in advance.

As with anywhere it's impossible to predict the weather and, like the UK, February will probably not be the best weather, tending to be the coldest month, but is often better than the UK!

The average temperature is a max of 18° and a minimum of 14°.  It's usually quite windy in February with an average of 3 days of rain.

It also depends where you are staying on the island. As the wind is generally from the north, the north of the island will often feel colder.  The south of the island can often feel warmer, especially on a sheltered beach such as Morro Jable.

When the sun is shining it is beautiful and warm, and can even be hot. But as soon as a cloud comes over you can certainly feel the difference.

As to what sort of clothing you'll need, it's best to bring layers.

Thanks very much for the reply. We will be staying in Hotel Coral Cotillo. I'll hope for the best, and pray we get some sunshine and heat.
