Could someone please clarify exactly the requirements when coming to Fuerteventura both entering and also back to UK. I’m double jabbed. Sorry if this is a repetitive question but I am travelling alone and don’t want to get it wrong. Tha

Hi

OK. Here we go - This is valid as of 13th September but may change of closures if Spain moves from Amber.

1.You will NOT need a Test

2. You will need proof of being fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival with the dates you were vaccinated. This should all be on the valid NHS Vaccination Certificate.

3. A completed Spanish Health Travel Form which you can get here, https://www.spth.gob.es, or download the SPTH App on your phone and full it in.

On arrival you may be have to do the following:

  • Show the QR code (hardcopy or digital) issued on completion of the SPTH.
  • Undergo a temperature check
  • Undergo a visual health assessment
  • Show evidence of being fully vaccinated

You may be asked to show your vaccination certificate again at your accommodation.

Going back to the UK

1. You will will need to have had a Negative COVID Test 72 hrs or less before you travel. The cheapest is at the Airport which you can book online but of course it means travelling to the Airport 2 days before before you leave. This is fast and results are emails. You can book an appointment here: https://eurofins-megalab.com/en/eurofins-megalab-is-carrying-out-testing-for-covid-in-12-spanish-airports/.   There will be other medical centres offering this in the resort area where you are staying but more expensive.

2. As you are fully vaccinated you will only need to have booked a Day 2 Test for your return. You can find out prices here: https://www.covid19-testing.org I suggest you book this before you leave. The test will be sent to the address you are staying in the UK )I guess your home address) ready for your arrival.

3. A completed UK Locator travel form from here: https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk

I hope this helps.

Steve
