Hi,

My names is Macauley, I am 26 years old and currently living in London UK.

I am looking at moving to caleta de Fuste soon (next year). I will be looking for full time work in any sort of trade my strongest trades are within the automotive business.

I have my full level 2 light vehicle mechanic’s  qualification’s and have worked on cars since I was 16.

My current job is a parts advisor for bmw which I find much pride in working for the automotive business. I will be with them just over a year for when I come to moving.

I have done other various small jobs with helping owners out, I have done a few weeks working in a pub so understand the ways of being a bartender to the public which I will always give 100% to deliver the best customer service.

A little bit about me;

I am 26 years old and have taken the opportunity to move to Fuerteventura next year, I like to take myself as being a hard worker and always giving the best possible service back.

I also have a massive interest in race cars and karting which I have raced since I was 6 years old and only just ended my career in racing due to moving. This has been a big part in my life which I am very proud of.

Hi Macauley

Moving over here post-BREXIT is a daunting task but not insurmountable. The biggest problems are accommodation, and as you rightly put getting a job. The good news is, of course, you can arrive here as a tourist and stay for 3 months to sort things out. Things are difficult job wise, especially if you don't speak Spanish unless you end up being self-employed and support the English speaking  community with their mechanical needs.

Good luck.

Steve
