We own a property in Caleta De Fuste and would like to know what you need to do to get residency and what is it? ie a form or a specific number.

hi, to get your residency can be quite difficult unless you speak perfect Spanish as you have to present forms to the main police station in Rosario, I’d recommend using the service of either Carolina in the insurance place next to the chocolate shop in caleta, or a lady called Sarah who did ours she’s very professional and not expensive +34666064724. You can do it your self and google the forms then print them out and then attend the police station but it’s so much easier to pay someone to do it and just go once. Good luck.

We have already been to the police station and the notary when we purchased the property! And have a DNI number. Is this the residency ?

no,what you have is an nie number on a white sheet. dni numbers are for spaniards.
