I am travelling to Caleta de Fuste for a week’s holiday in October and am looking for information/advice on how and where to book the PCR test for return to UK. I understand that this has to be done any time from 72 hours before departure. Is there anywhere in Caleta de Fuste to have the test or I have heard they do them at the airport, although this seems to be cutting it a bit fine. Any advice welcome!

There is a clinic at the top of the high street where you can get them done.  No appointment needed.  From Fado Rock cross over the road and walk straight up towards the bus station.  Klinik Cenmed, next door to the pharmacy.

For the one at the airport you must book an appointment.  I did hear of one person missing his flight as it hadn't come through on his phone in time.  He couldn't fetch a print out as he had already gone through customs.  But I think the vast majority have worked fine.

Yes, only now you do have to book.  Apparently they've been so busy they were having huge queues.
